Hebrews 11:1 (CSB)
Now faith is the reality of what is hoped for, the proof of what is not seen.
I don’t know about you but the one thing that I always seem to struggle with in my faith is knowing that no matter how I am feeling, God has it under control. I tend to get caught up in what is going on around me and I forget that God cares about every detail and He is holding me in His hands. When I think about the verse that I shared it really helps me to remember why I struggle. As humans we are programmed to only believe that which we can see, hear, feel or touch, so the idea of placing your trust in a God that you can do none of things with seems to go against our very nature. But, we can see, hear, feel and touch God, each and every day. Creation sings the glories of God all day long, all you have to do is watch the ocean, the waves coming and going to know that does not happen accidentally, it all happens at the hand of our loving and Almighty God. The changing of seasons takes place so effortlessly because we have an incredible God who loves us and takes care of every detail. So when we have those moments where our faith feels like it is faltering, remember...God is in the details and He loves you more than you know.
Matthew 6:26 (CSB)
Consider the birds of the sky: They don’t sow or reap or gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you worth more than they?
