1 Peter 5:7 (NKJV) 7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
Walking through this life can be full of joy and blessings, but, we can also experience all the cursings as well. While we certainly have tremendous hope in what is to come, we are also promised tribulation in this world. As we continue to experience this tribulation we can and should place all of our cares upon Him. How grateful should we be in that! What a wonderful promise. Where Does Our Hope Come From? In order to put trials and tribulations in their rightful spot, we first have to examine where our hope comes from. No matter how good this life is, no matter the riches, no matter the victories, this life simply cannot compare to what lies ahead. We are promised that if we believe Jesus to the be the Son of God, that he came to earth as a man, lived a sinless life, and died on the cross to pay for our sin, through faith we will be cleansed of our transgressions. Our hope does not lie in paper money, nor our good looks, or any earthly thing. Our hope is eternal. Our hope is heaven! Cast All Cares Upon Him In comparison to eternity, our time here on earth is but a vapor in the wind. It is awfully hard to see that through troubles, is it not? When we are experiencing tribulation, the trial feels like an eternity and heaven feels light-years away. Thankfully, our Lord and Savior is there to guide us through the trial. He does not always take away the trial, but guides us through it, provides us the strength to endure. He is like that coach on the sideline giving you wisdom, encouraging you to find that inner strength. The Lord is right there by our side through it all. What an amazing thought! How Do I Cast My Care Upton Him? There is no way around it, you have to talk to God. The Lord already knows your troubled heart, He wants you to come to Him with it. Explain to your Father what is going on, ask for guidance, ask for strength. We are promised that if we ask for Godly wisdom, He will be faithful to provide you with everything you need to endure. Earnestly seek after the Lord through prayer, let Him know you need Him, He is never further than a prayer away. Closing Thoughts: This world can be tough to navigate sometimes, thankfully our Lord promises to be right by our side. Talk to your heavenly Father today, faithfully expecting guidance, strength, and wisdom. Psalm 46:1–3 (NKJV) 1 God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling.
